The Espaillat Cabral Institute is a specialized center that provides medical care in the area of ophthalmology. It was founded by Professor Arnaldo Espaillat Cabral in 1970, and has since been acknowledged for its avant-garde approach to ophthalmology sciences, its adherence to professional ethics and the excellent ophthalmic care it provides to patients.Arnaldo Espaillat Matos, M.D. joined the institution in 1997, following the conclusion of eight years of ophthalmic specialization studies at the Barraquer Institute in Barcelona, Spain. Since his incorporation Dr. Espaillat Matos has held the position of Medical Director to the Institute.
