- Giant screens in all our waiting rooms, with instructive videos on visual health and diseases affecting the eye, as well as information on the modern resources available for their treatment.

A surgical area comprised of two operating rooms is located on the second floor of our building. The rooms have been specifically designed for the purpose of performing optical surgery, and have been availed of special ergonomic features and state of the art technological equipment.
Although in today's world ophthalmology surgery is an ambulatory procedure, the Espaillat Cabral Institute is fully committed to providing patients with the best possible medical care, and has thus has installed post-operative recovery rooms on its second floor. Be it for brief or extended stays, the rooms are equipped with all the features required to ensure the comfort of patients as well as their accompanying relatives and/or care-givers.
The rooms are quite spacious and are provided with air-conditioning system, background music, visitors' couch and bathroom; complimentary daily newspaper is also made available to each room. For the convenience of accompanying relatives and/or care givers, a common lounge area is also available where visitors can enjoy complimentary water, coffee, tea and crackers.
