Mission and Vision

The mission of the Espaillat Cabral Institute is to provide high quality ophthalmic services, based on ethical principles, thus providing personalized care to our patients -through the best human and technological resources available- in order to meet their visual health needs.

Our vision is to be a leading institution in providing visual health services in the Dominican Republic; and a point of reference in Latin America for the promotion of knowledge and prevention of visual health. We aim to accomplish this by keeping abreast of new developments in the field of ophthalmology sciences and by implementing new, effective and safe techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the eye.
