This procedure measures the thickness of the cornea, either by ultrasonic or Scheimpflug images, which is a very important procedure for the study of glaucoma; for the planning of refractive surgery of the cornea; and to provide monitoring and follow up to healing of the cornea after certain diseases, such as Fuchs' dystrophy.
